Bell annealing furnace is a heat treatment equipment that heats metal workpieces in vacuum or protective atmosphere to obtain homogenized structure. It is mainly used for quenching and tempering of various alloy steels, cast iron parts and tools, as well as solution treatment and aging hardening of some non-ferrous metals. Specifically including: normalizing and tempering of carbon alloy stainless steel and low alloy steel materials; hot upsetting of gear blanks and shaft parts; hot forming and stress relief of springs; hot upsetting of nuts; manufacturing of high-strength fasteners and threaded rollers; production of forgings with various complex shapes; manufacturing of high-precision small-diameter deep hole drills; carburizing quenching, local quenching heat treatment; high-frequency quenching heat treatment; local high-temperature tempering heat treatment; finishing of small precision machined parts; tool grinding; plastic injection molding, powder metallurgy, welding, sintering, brazing, electroplating and other processes.

The strip is indirectly heated through the inner hood, and the heat obtained by the strip mainly depends on the radiation heat transfer of the inner hood wall and the gas convection heat transfer capacity. By increasing the flow rate of the shielding gas and adopting a high-flow shielding gas circulation system, the heat on the inner cover can be quickly transferred to the steel coil.

 

High-purity nitrogen or hydrogen is usually used as a shielding gas to ensure that the workpiece is always protected by high-purity gas during heating, insulation and cooling, so as to keep the surface of the annealed material bright and free of oxidation.

 

Because the furnace is equipped with a high-intensity convection fan, the atmosphere in the furnace forms a strong convection circulation, which makes the furnace temperature uniform and the temperature difference at each point can be controlled within ±3℃, thereby ensuring that the annealed material obtains uniform and consistent physical and mechanical properties.

 

By using advanced mathematical models, it is possible to brightly anneal steel strips in a full hydrogen atmosphere to ensure product quality.
