The treatment time of nitriding co-diffusion process is relatively short, usually the holding time is 8-10 hours, the depth of the diffusion layer is 0.14-0.18mm, and the thickness of the white bright layer is 0.006-0.01mm.
The nitriding process does not require quenching, the workpiece deformation is small, and the processing cost is low. In addition, the equipment is simple, the process is easy to master, and it is suitable for large-scale production.
The use of gas nitriding technology has low energy consumption and does not produce a large amount of waste gas or pollutants, which meets the sustainable development requirements of modern industry.
